Our foundation principles simply put, are "Pride and Loyalty" . We feel the American Pit Bull Terrier exemplifies these traits better than any other dog.......and even some people! Temperament comes first and foremost here at Leprechaun Kennels, we strive for athleticism, drive, correct structure, and stunning good looks from there. American Pit Bull Terriers have been a part of our lives for over 30 years. They have been woven into the fabric of our families from a young age, and we have three children that I hope will be able to say the same thing 30 years from now. We are a small breeder located in the Northern California Bay Area specializing in Quality Bred American Pit Bull Terriers. We have a tremendous amount of respect and understanding for the storied history of this breed, with a vision of what we would like the future to resemble. With recent legends to future ones on both sides, we feel the pedigree's of our dogs speak for themselves. We utilize two distinct bloodlines here at Leprechaun Kennels as our foundation:
Bluelines developed by Eddie Lomeli.
Razors Edge developed by Dave Wilson.
We do not feature just Blue American Pit Bull Terriers, while we love the blues, we feel the variety of possibilities is yet another trait that seperates this breed from the rest. Our dogs currently carry the genes to produce Blues, Silvers, Plums, Piebalds, and Brindles, with possibilities of Champagnes, Blue Fawns, and Tri-Colored puppies among others.
