Leprechaun Kennels is located in the Northern California Bay Area and has partners here in the East Bay and also Tucson, Arizona. Each one of our kennel setups focuses on raising this breed in a family environment, where we feel the best attributes of the American Pit Bull Terrier are on display.  

After temperament, we strive to produce a bullier style APBT……one that has symmetry from nose to tail, without sacrificing structure and athletic ability. We define “ bullier” as a pit bull with more mass in the head, neck, shoulders and rears than the traditional APBT. We are not looking to produce small dogs heavy in English and French bulldog physical traits…..nor are we interested in producing Extra Extra Large dogs heavy in Mastiff and Presa physical traits.

We are proud of the dogs we produce here through our family of Leprechaun Kennels, featuring Blueline bloodline. We also dabble in other bloodlines such as Greyline, Razor’s Edge, Gotti, and Royal Blue Generation to name a few. All of our dogs are currently registered in the U.K.C. (United Kennel Club) with the intention of having them all dual registered in the A.B.K.C. (American Bully Kennel Club) by early 2012.

We have 20+ years of experience raising and breeding these magnificent animals. We do not claim to know it all or to have done it all, and wouldn’t be where we are today without the help of a lot of people along the way.

We ask that you conduct as much research as possible on the breed and what’s available to you as a customer before contacting us about a puppy or full grown dog for sale. We do this for numerous reasons; the 2 biggest ones are these:

1.       “We do not breed dogs solely to sell puppies”….so if you are under the assumption that your character and ability to raise this breed in an environment that WE feel is conducive to success are less important than how much money you have in your pocket…..YOU ARE IN THE WRONG PLACE!

2.       We want to place the right dog with the right owner. Like people, dogs are multifaceted in their personalities, behavior, and appearances…..and because we’re asking you to make a 10+ year commitment to our puppies, we want to do everything possible to ensure that at the end of it all, that both you and the dog enriched and fulfilled each other’s lives!
